Requirements: The ideal intern/Volunteer must have strong communication, organization, and writing skills. Candidate must have a high energy level, a professional appearance, and a “go-getter” attitude. Candidate should be comfortable speaking on the phone and have a personable and friendly demeanor. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are critical. The development intern/volunteer position requires a self-starter with drive and motivation and the ability to work independently with little supervision and be familiar with Larimer County. Schedule and multi-tasking must.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Center for Family Outreach relies on volunteers to help make our organization a success. Our greatest need for volunteers includes event coordination, fundraising, and administrative office duties. Other opportunities for part-time volunteering are listed below.
Youth Programs Volunteers are needed to teach yoga, dance, voice lessons, cooking, painting, pottery, drawing, technology, bike building, photography, and weightlifting.
Fundraising This is an excellent internship opportunity for any student who hopes to pursue a career in fundraising for non-profits or customer relationship management.
Management We need motivated individuals to help plan and coordinate the Celebration of Youth Dinner once a month for the youth who have achieved success through the center.
Research/Writing We need a volunteer who can write and research grants and would like to edit and write our monthly newsletter.
Administrative Support We need volunteers to help greet clients, answer and direct phone calls, and organize resources.
Online Marketing We can always use help maintaining our social media accounts.
Event Coordinators We run a few large events throughout the year. We can always use help staffing those events and planning for those events.
Donation Coordinators We are always looking for help in soliciting donations from community members and organizations.
Food Pantry Are you someone who loves to stay organized? We need your assistance with our food pantry! Currently seeking someone who can collect and track food items.
Life Skills We are looking for some energetic people who would like to teach life skills including cooking, nutrition, grocery shopping, budgeting, public transportation, etc.
Building Maintenance Handyman needed to help with maintenance projects around The Center, building shelves, fixing doors, and light maintenance duties.
