What The Center Offers

Here at The Center, we offer a variety of programs and classes that work in tandem alongside our case management process. Some of our programs include art enrichment projects that provide a platform for students to express themselves, public service designed to provide value to our community, and Diversion, a program that acts as an alternative to sentencing our youth struggling with substance use and disruptive or high-risk behaviors.
Each student will be assigned a case manager for encouragement, support of their goals and to assist in accessing additional resources that will help them and their families navigate school, personal lives and legal systems.
The program is designed to meet both the short and long term needs of the family and is a powerful tool in helping reduce the risk of substance abuse, family conflict, and involvement in the juvenile system. We also offer parents guidance and support with their teens that are diagnosed with mental health issues.

Enrichment

Artistic projects such as painting, sculpture and tile-making enable students to express themselves, providing an emotional outlet that isn't confrontational or alienating. Students build self-esteem and confidence as they grasp new techniques and complete projects.

Diversion

(Referrals from the Justice System)
Diversion is an alternative-to-sentencing program for youth struggling with substance use, disruptive or high-risk behaviors and/or family conflict due to adolescent development issues. This 90-day program includes educational classes on substance use, life skills, peer pressure, communication and social skills.

Youth Classes

The Center offers a selection of classes to help further support and educate our students where they need the most assistance. Working to develop and retain skill sets ranging from self confidence and healthy communication practices to understanding the dangers that come with substance use. We will open these classes for enrollment to our students on a case-by-case basis, catering to each individual’s needs and plan.

Parent Support

At The Center, we understand that parents need clear information, practical strategies, and support from those around them. We can help with that. From therapy classes to community resources we have plenty of ways to help parents understand their child's needs and create meaningful relationships with their child as they mature.
